Katie Preston considers herself a creationist wildlife artist (b. 1989) and uses light, movement, and carefully considered compositions to tell nature's stories. She uses vivid colors and engaging brushstrokes with acrylics to add life and luminosity to the creatures she paints past or present. Every image showcases a moment in time, daily activity, and the beauty of created kinds.
Katie has shown her work at the Lan Su Chinese Garden, The 23 Sandy Gallery, and is currently showing with the For the Seventh Generation project.
